Sunburst Pendant
There are many ways to use this technique and one example is taught in this class.
I've actually known this method for quite a while but was working on an easier way to create it. In an aha! moment it came to me and am now able to teach it to you easily.
This pendant uses other techniques also so you should have completed a couple of other classes in order to do this one. Or be able to do the techniques taught in wire whimsy, heirloom pendant, woven triangle or coiled wire earrings as examples. You can always send me an email to check first.
This turquoise pendant is only 1" in diameter while the picture jasper pendant (right) is 1 3/4" diameter. In class we'll make the smaller (turquoise example) one.

Tools
Round nose pliers, chain or fine flat nose pliers, flush wire cutter, six step pliers (optional). Set of mandrels (required purchase) that I make especially for this project ($5 total).
Materials
Small flat round bead, 1 ft 18 gauge wire, 4 ft 26 gauge wire, 2 ft 24 gauge wire. These materials should will cost less than $5 total.
Here are some other examples where I used this technique. These projects are not taught in class but will be discussed and will be available for you to look at.
Note: I got the idea of this technique from a tutorial I purchased from Carmen Barerra. I do not do the technique in the same way that she does and use completely different tools.
